Okay, so just in case you guys weren't sick and tired of hearing about this already...I'll make sure you are by the end of this entry. =D
Greg and I met up at the Hub at 12 today. He told me he is definitely hoping to start shooting on Saturday evening. He's going to reserve the equipment he needs tomorrow for the weekend, and get his two crew members together.
In the meantime, it's my responsibility to make sure that people know what they're doing. Tomorrow night and Wednesday night, Jason and I are going out to Jake's place to do more read-throughs. Gina is coming along to film them and take photos just so we have some cool behind-the-scenes stuff to look at later. I've asked them to have their lines memorized and we're going to make sure everything is good to go for Saturday.
Jake asked me what we're doing about make-up so that they can look..."sinister"...is the word he used. I thought maybe I'd give it a try, unless Gina can do it better, or if we can get Sara involved at this point. Maybe I'll use red nail polish with mascara around it to do scars on their faces. Any suggestions?
I will be sure to take tons of pictures and even some audio / video this next week. So right now it looks like Monday and Wednesday nights are read-throughs with Jake and Jason, Friday night meeting with Rhonda (don't know if we are doing any filming yet) and some filming officially going on Saturday night. That's the deal. (=
If you want to be updated, I'm trying to get together a blog for the film process. I'll let you guys know when that happens, whenever it happens, lol.

Last night we did an actual read-through with Jason and Jake. We went to this diner down the street and they read through their lines there with Jake recording it on his camera, then they went home and did it twice more, once acting it out somewhat. I was totally floored by the whole thing. I'm not sure if it's because this is finally turning into a reality after so many months of hoping and wishing, or what. I have totally fallen in love with the characters I created, not that I didn't like them before, but I really do now! And it can only get better. They stumble a little and I think it's because they haven't memorized the lines yet, so when they look up to do something and then down again, they lose their place. I really don't care that much though. That should fix itself when they memorize their lines for real. For the first day's run-through, it was pretty good. (=

My text-rewrite for Music 241. =D
To the tune of Old MacDonald:
Reading can be so much fun.
A-E-I-O-U!
Are vowels you find in every word,
A-E-I-O-U!
With an ah ah here and an ay ay there,
Here an ah, there an ay,
Everywhere an A sound
Reading can be so much fun,
A-E-I-O-U!It's supposed to teach grade K reading, and I focused on vowels. Not due till Wednesday. Suggestions?

Today was a very long day. I could barely get up this morning because I was up late last night almost dying in a snow blizzard. :( More info on that on Facebook. But it was still a good night regardless. I partied with Jason and Jake (just kidding). We had a really good time. I think either tomorrow night or Saturday sometime we're going to meet and go over lines for real (ha ha).
I had two classes today. It's Thursday, which means class at 8. Then another class at 1 and after that I had to go to work from 2:30 to 5:30. It is always a rush getting there, but I had fun with the kids. I got three more pictures, two from the same girl. It was so funny, I told the teacher, "This is picture #3 from the same girl!" and later, after she drew me another picture, she said, "Here you go Miss Katie, it's #4!" I swear, they really crack me up sometimes. So I put the pictures I could fit on the fridge. :)
I have a lot of homework I have to do tonight. I don't feel like doing any of it, but I need to catch up on reading. Guess I better get on that, huh?

I have so much reading to do today. I was supposed to do it today during the day, but I went to the mall with Matt instead so we could both get much needed haircuts. My hair is shoulder-length now; it's short enough that it's not unruly and I can leave it down without worrying about it, but it still looks cute. Pics later if I remember.
The Big Game is tonight, so I decided to wait to do homework because I know I won't have anything better to do tonight. I have to do reading and notes for English, a reading response for LL ED 400, and a few reading diary entries, plus who knows what else. I need to look at my list, which I make every day for the week so I know what needs to be done and I can budget my time. ^__^
When I opened the fridge, there were 20 bottles of beer on the top shelf, so I know shit's going down tonight. Meaning the Super Bowl. =(
